Who we are

Wexley Advisory (“Wexley”, “we”, “us”) is a technology and transformation advisory practice based in Sydney, Australia. This policy explains how we handle personal information collected through wexleyadvisory.com and in the course of our work. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What we collect

When you email or call us, we collect your name, contact details and anything you choose to tell us. When you work with us, we may also collect business contact details for people at your organisation. We do not ask for sensitive information and ask that you do not send it through the website.

Our hosting provider records standard technical information such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, for security and performance.

How we use it

We use your information to respond to your enquiry, arrange a conversation, prepare and deliver our services, and keep our business records. We will not add you to a mailing list or use your details for marketing without your consent, and we do not sell personal information.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only with service providers who help us run the practice, such as our website host (Netlify), our email provider and our professional advisers, and only as far as they need it to provide their service. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

Storage overseas

Some of our service providers store data outside Australia. Netlify, which hosts this website, stores data in the United States. We take reasonable steps to make sure overseas providers protect your information in a way that is consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles.

Security and retention

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. We keep it only as long as we need it for the purposes above or as the law requires, and then delete or de-identify it. We keep enquiries that do not proceed for 12 months.

Access and correction

You may ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it. Contact us using the details below and we will respond within a reasonable time, usually 30 days.

Complaints

If you are concerned about how we have handled your personal information, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
